BHUDDA's RED WALLS.. one wall has finally been blessed with the touch of a graff artist's spray paint..
since i've moved out of the comfortable and sheltered suburban life i once had in 2003.. there are so many things i've come to appreciate about the urban culture.. like the art of graffiti and it's hiphop roots.. DEF DOM is one of jersey's most talented hiphop celebrities.. having produced and recorded himself.. he is a frequent at Jersey's MEET THE PRODUCERS BEAT BATTLE and has performed in last year's PLANET HIPHOP at NJPAC.. currently he is still performing locally and trust me.. if you happen to catch a show.. i promise you won't be disappointed.. DEF DOM is a master of beats.. mics.. and paint!.. last weekend the artist was commissioned to use his skills to cover the wall of one of his lucky fans.. and that fan happened to be me.. with payment of a home cooked meal and friendly companionship i was able to convince this mastermind to put his latest master piece on the wall of my bedroom.. 10 spray paint cans and a baked lasagna later.. blank red wall has become the canvas for DEF DOM's newest Mona Lisa.. | new life
so i've moved.. yet again.. except this time.. things are much much different.. i live in newark now (NORTH NEWARK.. OFF PARK AVE.. IN THE SPANISH SECTION.. AND NO!.. IT'S NOT SCAREY!).. this is definitely the biggest change thus far in my life.. different type of neighborhood.. different friends.. different everything.. i live with sheebahawk.. her name's really sheena.. but i call her many things.. sheebahawk, sheebie, sheebs, sheebarock.. yeaa.. she just calls me chris.. lol.. we have a third roomate.. who hasn't moved in yet.. she lives in connecticut.. who knows if she'll even be joining us.. anyway.. like i said.. things are definitely different..
red walls- i painted my room dark red.. me!!.. the plain jane from eb.. has painted her walls red!.. if you knew me well enough.. you'd know.. it's just not something the old me would've done.. i've lived in two other apartments in the past.. and i've never painted any of them.. not to mention the fact that red.. was never my color!.. i've always been some what of a fuddy duddy.. nothing too crazy.. keeping things low key.. but lately.. things have just been different.. and i'm happier than i've ever been

"bhudda bear"- i have a new boyfriend.. his name is marc.. we started dating in november.. we had a rough start.. and there was a point when we first started dating that we stopped conversing for almost a month and i never expected us to become an item.. i'm a tough girl to please.. i can't deny that.. even now we have our moments.. but there's no one else i'd rather be with.. he calls me "bhudda bear".. and he takes great care of me.. i love him
cali- i've decided to look for a new job sometime next year.. in a far away place called california.. i've never gone anywhere or experienced anything other than jersey.. don't get me wrong.. i love jersey.. but i need to experience life a little bit more before i settle down.. i told my bf.. and he agrees with me.. so when my lease is up.. and my roomates and i decide to part ways.. i'm off on a new adventure
hiphop- i've come to appreciate hiphop.. not the crap that's played on the radio or in clubs (what the hell is the point of making songs about freakin lamborghinis and slappin asses?!.. that's just demeaning!!).. but the underground scene.. my bf's a dj/producer.. my roomate is a promoter.. my other roomate is a singer and they boyfriends are both very talented rap stars (ESPEE from BULLYMOUTH and AL SHARP TONGUE from BILLY DEVILLE) and my landlord TRIN DEEZL records dope tracks with both of them (if your on myspace.. check them out on my friendslist!).. last summer i became a frequent at NJ's MTP BEAT BATTLES.. that's how i met my bf MENT PLUS.. i love beats!.. if the radio would play instrumental versions of songs.. maybe i'd be a lil more upset that the radio in my car isn't working.. i still love dancing.. therefore i still find myself in clubs once in a blue.. and i just tune out the corny lyrics and dance the night away
my friends from home- i miss them tons.. they should come visit me.. DID YOU HEAR THAT?!.. COME VISIT ME!!

watup jj's!!.. check it out!!.. i just spent my first night in my NEW APT!.. granted it was on a sleeping bag.. but still!!.. i'll have all my furniture sooner or later.. i'm just happy to finally be on my totally on my own.. new start.. good friends.. wonderful life! `=)
